MICHAEL CARBONE was born in Philadelphia PA on May 21, 1907. He founded the Michael Carbone Printing Machinery Company in South Camden in 1949. He purchased the building of the old Garden State Motors Chrysler-Plymouth dealership at Federal Street and East State street around 1961. The business, which survived Mr. Carbone is still in operation at that location, under the direction of Peter Sweet. After he retired, he maintained residences in Voorhees Township NJ and in St. Petersburg FL.

Michael Carbone passed away on January 12, 2004 at the age of 95, survived by his wife Ida.

Born in Philadelphia and a longtime resident of Barrington. Mike founded the 'Michael Carbone Printing Machinery Co' in 1949, and it is still in operation today. He was active in politics in Phila. & Barrington, and was past president of the Philadelphia Printing House Craftsman, and the Order of Brotherly Love, also a member of the Voorhees Senior Club. He will be remembered as a responsible, intelligent, dedicated businessman and father, who embraced life to the fullest up to his last days.

Devoted father of Vicki Lombardo, Diane Sheldon and the late Louis Brusco. Loving grandfather of Andrea and Michael Lombardo, and Lisa Sheldon. Proud great grandfather of Sophia Cyriacks. Dear brother of Olga and Flora. Survived by his wife, Ida, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved.

Funeral Mass will be held 11am Sat. March 20, St. Andrew of the Apostle Church, Kresson/Gibbsboro Rd., Gibbsboro, NJ. Int. of Cremains will be in Cedar Grove Cem, Gibbsboro.
