City School Watchman Fatally Stricken

Frank DeKonski, 63, of 1029 Liberty Street, night watchman at Woodrow Wilson High School, collapsed and died Sunday night; short1y alter he reported for work.

Raymond Dougherty, of 125 Ablett Village, an engineer at the school, told police DeKonski relieved him at 10 p. m, and as Dougherty was leaving the room he heard DeKonski fall. Coroner LeRoy Wooster ordered the body removed to Cooper Hospital for autopsy.

Mr. DeKonski, who was horn in Philadelphia and a Camden resident for 55 years, is survived by his wife Julia; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Cianfrani, of Audubon, and a brother, John Deacon, of Philadelphia. Requiem high Mass will be sung at 9 a. m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Church, 10th and Mechanic Street.

Relatives and friends will meet at 8.30 o'c1ock in the Ciechanowski Funeral Home, 1300 South 10th Street, where they may call Wednesday night. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
