CORPORAL HAROLD E. HOLLOWAY was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Holloway of 130 Yale Avenue, in the Gloucester Heights section of Gloucester City NJ. He was inducted into the United States Army shortly after the draft was re-instituted in June of 1940. Harold Holloway was killed in action in France on August 26, 1944. He was survived by his parents, and his wife, the former Grace Durden, of Cetto Gardens NC. Initially reported missing, his death was reported in the October 2 and November 25, 1944 edition of the Camden Courier-Post. |
