Camden Fire Department
Fire, Rescue, & Safety Operations
April 1, 2012 - Car Fire on Park Boulevard

This page and the other pages in this series are the successors to the series of web-page about the Camden Fire Department that began with the page Camden Fire Department: The Fires of the Summer of 2011. On this and other pages in the series you will find pictures and information regarding different events and aspects of the fire service in Camden, New Jersey.

A quiet Sunday in Camden found me at Liberty Station, shooting the breeze with fire photographer Dave Hernandez, who also is a Captain with he Medford, New Jersey Fire Department. A call came over the radio concerning a car fire on Park Boulevard, near Empire Avenue, so we jumped into my truck and rode over. Dave shot video, while I took still photos. Squad Company 7, consisting of Captain Al Ashley and firefighters Asante Wilson, David Smalls and Craig Spearman, was on scene with a Ford minivan fully involved. The fire was out when we arrived, but as always there was still much to record.

As with the web page covering other Camden Fire Department events, if you can identify anyone that I've missed, please e-mail me. (I'm terrible at at names and faces).
