Camden Fire Department
Fire, Rescue, & Safety Operations
March 23, 2012 - 806 North 6th Street

This page and the other pages in this series are the successors to the series of web-page about the Camden Fire Department that began with the page Camden Fire Department: The Fires of the Summer of 2011. On this and other pages in the series you will find pictures and information regarding different events and aspects of the fire service in Camden, New Jersey.

At approximately 9:45 PM on March 23, 2012 units of the Camden Fire Department were dispatched to a dwelling a vacant dwelling at 806 North 6th Street in North Camden. This two-story building had once been an attached dwelling, but had long been a stand-alone, and had been the scene of several fires previously. Only three weeks previously the building had been slated for demolition, however, the wreckers had not yet arrived when this fire took place. This was the first of three small fire that the Camden Fire Department addressed that day.

All photos here are presented in the order in which they were taken. My first photograph was shot at 9:59 AM. The last picture presented here was taken at 10:22 AM. By 10:47 I was shooting pictures at another fire at Broadway and Washington Street.

As with the web page covering other Camden Fire Department events, if you can identify anyone that I've missed, please e-mail me. (I'm terrible at at names and faces).
