Camden Fire Department
Fire, Rescue, & Safety Operations
March 23, 2012 - 426 Broadway

This page and the other pages in this series are the successors to the series of web-page about the Camden Fire Department that began with the page Camden Fire Department: The Fires of the Summer of 2011. On this and other pages in the series you will find pictures and information regarding different events and aspects of the fire service in Camden, New Jersey.

Around 10:15 AM on March 23, 2012 units of the Camden Fire Department were wrapping up from a fire in an abandoned at 806 North 6th Street in North Camden when a call came in reporting a fire at a vacant building at 426 Broadway, the northeast corner of Broadway and Washington Street. This building had been occupied with businesses and apartments until a year or two ago. Fire was found in a second floor apartment at the rear and was quickly dealt with.

All photos here are presented in the order in which they were taken. My first photograph was shot at 10:47 AM. The last picture presented here was taken at 11:08 AM. Later that say another small fire would be extinguished in an abandoned building at 1551 Warsaw Street.

As with the web page covering other Camden Fire Department events, if you can identify anyone that I've missed, please e-mail me. (I'm terrible at at names and faces).
