Animal Adoption Center's Dog '10 Walk
at Haddon Height's Park - October 3, 2010

Hello! You don't know me, but you should! I was at the Animal Adoption Center's Dog Walk '09 at Haddon Heights Park with my  human and my canine pals, just checking out the free biscuits.... more today than on the standard walk, I want to tell you!

There were a lot of people taking pictures, one fellow had a  deranged miniature fox terrier named Gigi and a cute... but BIG... terrier mix named Lola, and he took this picture of me and a few more. He would have taken a lot more, but THAT is a story for another day.... I might HAVE a tail, but I don't carry tales!!!!

Getting back to business, I need to ask you a favor. PLEASE help out some of my friends who are in trouble and need a home. The Animal Adoption Center people have good intentions, but I'm telling you, dogs like me can't eat good intentions!

Please help my pals who are in trouble and need homes. If you can't take someone as good-looking, fun, and energetic as me home with you, please help out and support your local animal shelter.

A question that many people have asked... and many others should ask... is "What can I do to help my country in this time of war. The answer is in the link below. This program was started by the operator of the animal information site www.netpets.org, shortly after the 9/11 terror attacks, after learning of thousands of pets put to sleep during the first Gulf War because service men and women had nowhere to board them.

STEP UP AND DO YOU PART FOR AMERICA!

Why A Dog???

This was taken the day before the Dog Walk at the Camden Fire Department's Fire Muster on the waterfront in Camden. The dog is my pal Lola, an 8-9 year old mixed breed dog whom I adopted this spring after my old pal Dominic passed on. Lola was the perfect lady at the Fire Muster, however, I didn't get a chance to shoot any pictures of her at the Dog Walk.  We had never met these people before, but as you can see, Lola loves everyone. This picture is this years version of "Why we have our dogs".... the love they give to us and what they enable us to give to them. If you have never experienced this, get off of "I can't" and "I won't". Open your head, heart, and home.... adopt a dog... or two!!!

Remember, if you have room in your heart and room in your house, take an older dog in. It will be the best move you will ever make! Really!!! I can't lie to you about a thing like that! Come to think of it, I can't lie at all.... I'm a dog!
