PRIVATE WILLIAM N. HAINES was born on August 1, 1912. He had ties to both Gloucester Township and Pennsauken Township in Camden County NJ. Inducted into the Army late in the war, he was killed in action while serving with the 141st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry Division, on January 21, 1945.

William N. Haines was brought home after the war ended. He was buried at Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly NJ on August 4, 1949.
