HOSPITAL APPRENTICE FIRST CLASS WILLIAM SOLOMON had lived in Collingswood for many years, and for a short spell at 15 Pine Street in Westville, before settling in at 448 Pfeiffer Street in Camden NJ. Prior to entering the Navy in the summer of 143, he worked for the New York Shipbuilding Company in Camden as a steelworker. He was survived by his wife, Alice Lena Solomon, and a 15 month-old daughter, Rebecca Ann.
