FIRST SERGEANT GILBERT F. CHRISTY SR. was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Christy. A member of the New Jersey National Guard, he was mobilized in June of 1940. He died at the age of 38 while serving in the United States Army during World War II. He was survived by his parents, wife Katherine, and son Gilbert F. Christy Jr., of 2836 Pleasant Street, Camden NJ. |
