PRIVATE EMERSON J. KANE was drafted on January 3, 1918 and sent to Camp Meade MD for training in the 1st Company, 154th Depot Brigade. He went overseas, assigned to the 371st Infantry Regiment, 93rd Infantry Division. Private Kane died of wounds at the beginning of the Battle of the Argonne Forest on September 28, 1918. 

Emerson Kane was the son of Louis Kane, of 1807 Kossuth Street in Camden NJ, with whom he had lived.
