Camden Streets - Wildwood Avenue

WILDWOOD AVENUE is in Camden's Parkside section, running from Haddon Avenue to Park Boulevard west of Baird Avenue. Many prominent Camden citizens resided there at one time, especially in the 1500 block, close to Camden High School and what was at the time the county-run section of Forest Hill (aka Farnham) Park. Many fine houses were built on Wildwood Avenue beginning around 1915, with Camden businessman Andrew B.F. Smith playing a leading role in the development.
