MAN WHO ATTEMPTED SUICIDE FREED IN COURT Louis
Scott, 34, colored, 203 Pine
Street,
was given a suspended sentence by Police Judge Pancoast
yesterday. Charged
with attempting to end life
after
an argument with his wife, he was arrested at the West
Jersey
Homeopathic
Hospital
Wednesday night after he had been treated for swallowing poison. He told
Judge Pancoast he argued with his wife and she went to her parents’
house. “If you want to die," the court said, "use something more effective the next time. The poison you used wouldn't kill you." |
