Ida Street

IDA STREET, which no longer exists, ran north from 913 Kaighn Avenue to Baxter Street. Ida Street was really more of an alley than a street, with the east wall of 913 Kaighn Avenue on one side and the railroad tracks on the other. A parking lot exists where Ida Street once was. The entire block bounded by Sycamore Street, South 9th Street, Kaighn Avenue, and what is now the PATCO High Speed Line, including the 900 block of Baxter Street and all of Ida Street, is now a parking lot.

Do you have an Ida Street memory or picture. Let me know by e-mail so it can be included here.
