CLARE STREET is a one block thoroughfare that runs south, from 338 Pine Street to 335 Division Street, in South Camden. It shows up in the 1890-1891 Camden City Directory. It was originally called Pine Avenue, and appears to have been renamed between 1878 and late 1889 or early 1890. Concerning the Clare Street listings in the 1887-1888 and 1888-1889 directories, the house number patterns are inconsistent with the location. The 1890-1891 directories have the proper house numbers. |
