A. HOUSTON
On
Feb. 26, 2005, of Deptford, NJ, age 62 yrs.
Beloved father of Jennifer D'Antonio (Scott) of Marlton, Patrick
Houston of Abingdon, MD and devoted grandfather of Christopher
D'Antonio. Mr. Houston was the loving companion of Mary Boettcher and
dear brother of Bernice Houston of Farmington, CT and Marion Mills of
Oaklyn, NJ. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Houston was a Sergeant in the Army and served in Vietnam where he
earned and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a
former member and Past Commander of Camden VFW Post #705 and was
currently a member and recent Past Commander (2000-2004) of Yardville
VFW Post #491. Mr. Houston owned and operated Houston's Auto Service
in Camden for over 30 years. He was also a member of St. Aloysius
Church and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet Friday evening from 7:00 to
9:00pm and again Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30am at the CRERAN
FUNERAL HOME 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, NJ. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated Sat 12:00 noon at St. Aloysius Church, 37 W.
Haddon Ave., Oaklyn. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial
Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations in Mr.
Houston's name be made to St. Aloysius Church at the above address.
