ROBERT GEORGE BOYLE was born in Philadelphia on January 28, 1946 to Margaret and Frederick Boyle. The 1947 Camden City Directory shows the Frederick Boyle family at 2904 Carman Street in East Camden.  Frederick Boyle then worked at the Knox & Kind Gelatin factory in North Camden.

Robert George Boyle was appointed to the Camden Fire Department on November 8, 1968. He was then living at 1127 North 33rd Street in Cramer Hill, and was still there in the fall of 1969. By October of 1970 he had moved to 1004 North 35th Street in Cramer Hill. 

Residence restrictions were lifted on Camden firefighters in the 1970s. By October 1977, Robert Boyle had moved to Sicklerville, New Jersey. 

Robert George Boyle passed away on September 27, 1991.
