RICHARD O'NEILL was born in Camden NJ on July 14, 1886, one of at least four children born to William and Mary O'Neill. His father was an iron moulder. The family lived at 728 Market Street when the census was taken in 1900. Richard O'Neill married around 1909 and went into the real estate business around 1911. When he registered for the draft in June of 1917, he was married with two children, and living at 457 Berkley Street. The family, which included wife Anne, daughter Evelyn and son Richard Jr., was still living at 457 Berkley when the census was taken in 1930. By 1932 Richard O'Neill had moved his office to the corner of South 6th and Berkley Streets. Richard O'Neill and his family were still living at 457 Berkley as late as 1956, when he was listed in the New Jersey bell Telephone Directory. He was not listed, however, in the October 1959 Directory. |
