DR. NICHOLAS F. LAMAINA, the second child of Florence and Nicholas LaMaina, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 9, 1931. His family, however, had lived in Camden for many years before his birth and for quite sometime afterwards. His father for many years operated LaMaina's Cafe at the corner of Newton and Trenton Avenues in Camden. Nicholas F. LaMaina was one of three children, coming after older brother Lawrence and before younger brother Francis. Nicholas F. LaMaina graduated from Temple University and went on to become a podiatrist. Dr. LaMaina married Carolyn Joan Kucinski on September 18, 1965 and settled in Westmont, New Jersey. They were married 43 years and had two children: Stephenie Nicole and Nicholas Christian. Stephenie married Robert Gregg Lubberman, Jr. and they live in Cape May, New Jersey with their children. "Nicky" married Andrea Marie Petronella and they live in Lake Worth, Florida. They have a son and a daughter. On
