Devlin


CHARLES DEVLIN was born October 18, 1912 to Robert J. and Josephine Devlin. On April 19, 1944 he was appointed to the Camden Fire Department. He reported for duty two days later.

The 1947 Camden City Directory shows Charles Devlin and his wife Jacqueline residing at 734 Pearl Street in North Camden. By 1969 the Devlins had moved to 1675 North Collings Road in Fairview.

After a long and distinguished career, Charles Devlin retired from the Fire Department on December 1, 1972. He passed away on January of 1977, survived by his wife Jacqueline.
