OTTO A. BIHN was born in Pennsylvania around 1865 to George F. and Josephine Bihn. Mr. and Mrs. Bihn were both born in Prussia, and had come to Pennsylvania as early as 1863, when an older son, Edward, was born.

Otto A. Bihn married at age 23, and had moved to Camden by November 25, 1897, when son Otto Jr. was born. With wife Annie there were four other children, two daughters, and two sons, Edward and Frederick. Making his home at 211 Vine Street in North Camden, he was a neighbor of John F. Daly, who owned Daly's Cafe at 201 Vine Street, and the movie theater next door at 203-205 Vine. Otto Bihn was well known in North Camden, and served as an election board judge for many years. He worked in a metal shop until his retirement.

Otto A. Bihn Sr. passed away on October 15, 1936. After services at the Joseph H. Murray funeral home, he was buried in a private ceremony.
