HENRY S. KEUBLER was born in Camden, New Jersey on July 6, 1926 to Mary and Otto Keubler. The family was living at 1018 Newton Avenue in April of 1930.

Henry S. Keubler was inducted into the United States army on September 21, 1944. He married Rose Mason not long afterwards. By the 1950s they had moved to 1306 Mechanic Street.

Henry S. Keubler was appointed to the Camden Fire Department on December 30, 1950 and reported for duty on January 1, 1951. He served with Engine Company 3 at 1815 Broadway during the mid-1950s. 

After over 29 years of distinguished service, during which time he was cited for saving lives during a chlorine gas disaster, Henry S. Keubler retired from the Camden Fire Department on February 1, 1980.

By 1969 Henry S.Keubler was living at 558 North 35th Street in East Camden, and he was still there as late as the fall of 1970. His neighbor at 582 North 35th Street was Battalion 

Chief John Letts. When residency restriction were lifted for Camden fire fighters in the 1970s, Henry S. Keubler moved to Vincentown, New Jersey, and then to Brigantine, New Jersey. In the late 1990s he returned to Burlington County, taking up residence at Leisuretown. Henry S. Keubler passed away on March 21, 2002. He was survived by his wife and four children, Henry Jr., David, Kathie, and Mark Keubler, and a host of other relations..

KEUBLER, SR. HENRY S.
Age 75 of Southampton, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2002 at his home. Born in Camden, NJ, Mr. Keubler resided in Leisuretowne for 4 years. He previously resided in Vincentown and Brigantine. A US Army Veteran of World War II, Henry retired in 1981 as a fire fighter after 31 years of service with the City of Camden Fire Department. He is Survived by his wife of 57 years Rose (nee Mason); four children and their spouses, Henry Keubler, Jr. and his wife Candy of Vincentown, David Keubler and his wife Jacqueline of Vincentown, Kathie Heritage and her husband John of Atco, and Mark Keubler and his wife Melanee of North Hanover; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Fran Keubler of Bellmawr; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 25 at the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ (609) 654-2439. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Henry's memory to the Deborah Hospital, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
