PRIVATE ATTILIO J. SIMONE, of 16 Linden Avenue, Mount Ephraim NJ. was killed in action on April 6, 1945. The father of two, he was survived by his widow Caroline, son Harry, aged 6, and daughter Dorothy, 19 months at the time of her father's death.

Mrs. Caroline Simone became a charter member of the Camden County Chapter of the Gold Star Wives of World War II in November of 1947.
