FREDERICK GEHRIG, 24 of 16 South Harley Avenue, was killed when his vessel engaged the enemy in the South Pacific, as reported in the Camden NJ Courier-Post on Tuesday, January 5, 1943
            He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry P. Gehrig, and a graduate of Gloucester High School, class of 1936. Frederick Gehrig enlisted in the Navy on November 23, 1940. He had last written his parents on November 1, 1942.
